How does Plug-In Pest Free work?
Plug-In Pest
Free when in operation alters the background of the
existing electromagnetic field already contained within a
buildings structure. The unit operates by switching a coil
across the active and neutral leads of the electrical
supply wiring. This produces short "bursts" of
electro-motive force at 50Hz which feeds down the wiring
effectively modulating the existing electromagnetic field
created by the 50Hz supply at the frequency of these
"bursts", as the coil is switched "On" and "Off".
Does Plug-In Pest Free keep pests
from entering your premises?
No, nothing can
achieve that so it is still possible for a rodent to enter
through an open door, or for a cockroach to be brought in
within packaging or to enter through a window. Good
housekeeping will help reduce the incidence. Plug-In Pest
Free will however prevent the pests from staying and
establishing themselves. No other product is able to do
this. We do have a lot of reports that over time rodents
in particular will simply stay away.
How will I know Plug-In Pest Free is affecting the
pests?
As early as 24
hours, you may start to see a change and/increase in
activity and a higher than normal number of pests. Plug-In
Pest Free disorientates the pests and they become easier
to catch. It will cause them to leave the area as soon as
they can. Most pests can be cleaned out of an area in 1-4
weeks. With cockroaches, eggs can lay dormant for up to 12
months, so as the eggs hatch, smaller insects will become
noticeable. This however means that they are being
immediately affected by the units and will quickly vacate
the premises.
Can Plug-In Pest Free completely control an area
without using pesticides?
Yes, but it
will take longer. Plug-In Pest Free stresses the pests and
they become disorientated, dehydrated and they will make
every effort to leave. It is not an instant result that
pesticides offer. Please be patient and give the product
time to work, you will be delighted with the results
How will I know Plug-In Pest Free is functioning?
With the
domestic unit, you will see a blue light. This will
pulsate (or flash) for approximately two and a half
minutes, and then be still for two and a half minutes.
This is normal and simply indicates when the unit is
sending the pulsation through the wiring. The reason this
alternates on and off, is so the rodents can never ‘adapt’
to the environment. With the commercial unit the power
light and the cycle light are always on. The cycle light
will pulsate when the Plug-In Pest Free is in operating
mode.
Is Plug-In Pest Free harmful to
pets?
No, Plug-In
Pest Free will not affect cats, dogs, birds and fish, and
is family safe and environmentally-responsible.
How long does Plug-In Pest Free
last?
* Plug-In Pest Free commercial units last for 10-15 years,

15 years old and are still going strong.
